About the European Permaculture Convergence

The Permaculture Convergence is a gathering for exchange, collaboration, and inspiration across the permaculture movement. The last European convergence took place in 2023 and was also held online, continuing the practice of making the event accessible to a wider community.

Sessions

The European Permaculture Online Convergence is a community-shaped event. Everyone is invited to add sessions. There will be some predefined sessions, like keynote speakers, opening and closing and some networking sessions that will come from the EuPN and are not part of the voting process. The final schedule is then built from the proposals that receive the strongest support from the community. Selected session holders receive a free ticket, while those whose proposals are not selected can still join the Convergence at a strongly reduced price.

Budget

The Convergence is organised with a transparent budget. Planned costs, actual income and expenses will be made publicly visible through our website, including the funds received from ticket sales. With a projected budget of 3790 €, the event is expected to break even at around 110 participants with an average ticket revenue of 35 € per person. Dominik Jais

Dominik Jais is a website architect and Drupal developer. He is the initiator of the European Permaculture Convergence 2026. He is the lead of the European Permaculture Network.

Kathy Otto
