Chris has designed an apple coppice system primarily for firewood production, planted in 2018 in Herefordsghire, UK. This talk gives a description of the system and some results now coppicing has started in 2025. It shows how different rootstocks affect vigor, and what other benefits and products can be realised from this diverse, integrated and productive system.
