Permaculture Grows in Greece!
This is a presentation of how permaculture has grown the last 8 years in Greece, as an example of how Permaculture movement grows in a country of Southeast Europe. We will present learnings, mistakes, findings and surprises from our path in teaching and spreading permaculture through leading two different permaculture projects in Greece and teaching PDCs the last 7 years.
Christos Karystinos is a certified permaculture designer and teacher from the Italian Permaculture Academy, founder of Syntrofia Permaculture Project and Community Lab Permaculture company.
Christos Kontomanos is a regenerative farmer, founding member of COB cooperative and ecovillage, permaculture designer and teacher.
A collaborative session where both teachers and designers will co-create a storytelling session about how permaculture started from a hippie thing to an important factor in shaping the regenerative agriculture and natural building future in Greece. We will demonstrate how are projects affected the local communities and how the network of permaculture practitioners is sustained and weaved these years.
